WP 311: NRA Basic Instructor Training (BIT) & Pistol Instructor

The NRA instructor program consists of two parts.  Part one, BIT, teaches candidates the philosophy of teaching skills and techniques.  Part two (Pistol), is discipline specific and teaches the candidate how to teach the specific discipline desired through discussions, role playing, and teaching presentations.  The minimum time to complete the program is 17 hours.  Consequently, it is conducted over two full days (Saturday & Sunday).  The program is intensive, challenging, and fun.
