WP 201: Defensive Indexed Shooting
Most firearm engagements occur at ranges of five yards or less. Speed and relative accuracy are the keys to survival. Employing a natural, multi-axis index for gun alignment and a modified hand position for recoil control, shooters learn to engage targets quickly and accurately without depending on sights. Students are taught target transition techniques. Significant time is spent in live fire exercises to refine new skills. The techniques taught in this course provide the cornerstone skills for the rest of the 200 series of pistol courses.
