Whistling Pines Gun Club is Proud to Welcome Wounded Warriors Team Navy!

For the second year in a row the Wounded Warrior Team Navy will be at Whistling Pines Gun Club practicing for the upcoming Warrior Games. They will be here each day from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm shooting air rifles and pistols. We’re proud to support them and we look forward to watching them compete.
2012 Warrior Games – Colorado Springs
Held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, the Games will take place April 30 through May 5. The Warrior Games was created in 2010 as an introduction to Paralympic sports for injured service members and veterans. The Warrior Games competition is open to the public and admission is free.
Seven Sports 200+ Athletes
More than 200 wounded, ill, and injured servicemen and women and veterans compete in seven sports:
- Archery
- Cycling
- Shooting
- Sitting volleyball
- Swimming
- Track & field
- Wheelchair basketball
All eligible athletes are drawn proportionately from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and Special Operations based on their disability.
